I’m struggling with focus lately. I’ve read that there were some big shifts this weekend so we’re adjusting now. That makes people real tired, which I have been. When I’m tired I have a hard time doing what I’m supposed to do. I’m doing a bit better today, but not enough.
Life is super busy right now. My calendar is quite full with an appointment for someone almost every day. Tonight I take the cats to the pet store for shots since the clinic is cheaper. Thursday I signed up for a Conversations With God class at 7. Friday Carrie is getting nerve blocking injections. Then I’ll head back to work. Saturday is chiropractor, yoga, and meeting a woman to give her some of our baby stuff. She needs it more than we do since we have roughly 10 months before we’ll need anything. Sunday I’m going to an Access class called Create or Die. It’s only $20 and I’ll get to meet the founder of Access in person since it’s being held in Houston (but webcast around the world). I also have yoga that morning. Monday Carrie has an appointment (for the transition), a chiropractor appointment, and I could go to yoga. I may not though, based on the timing. Tuesday Carrie gets her dentures adjusted. Wednesday I’m taking a 1 hour tea tasting class that I bought a voucher for last year! lol Thursday is Carrie’s pain doctor, also to transition for Colorado and check after the pain injections. Finally, Friday Oct 18th is the only day where there isn’t ‘something’ scheduled that I have to attend! And that’s my last day at work! However, all of these things are necessary and will be interesting or beneficial to our health. *whew*
I asked my guide last night to remind me in some way to meditate or be lead to things that will help me communicate better with them, rather than using Carrie’s guides. It’s one of those things that I want, but there are so many things pulling at my attention that it gets lost. Even with the lift app and other things to remind me.
Also, the other day Carrie and I got in a big fight over a small misunderstanding. So we’re making the effort to spend more time together interacting. Last night we watched Big Bang Theory together.

It was cold! lol But, my back was hurting and I needed the decompression the pool provides. I spent the whole time walking under the water, moving my hands for propulsion as well. I figure that is a gentle strength and endurance exercise. I would also stretch from time to time to release my back more. I hope the pool in Denver is heated enough to swim on the warmer fall days at least.
Smoothies: Today was day 4 of the smoothie challenge I believe. I had leftovers from yesterday since I made too much. Tomorrow I plan to add the chocolate protein mix that I bought ages ago. My hope is by adding it to the smoothie instead of trying to mix it with a shaker cup I’ll enjoy it more. After I do that I’ll add chia seeds. I don’t want to change too many things at once and not know what I didn’t like (if that were to happen). Hopefully once I’m adding protein it will be more satisfying and become a meal replacement or better snack. We’ll see.
