Busy Busy

Last week was a rough one.  Carrie struggled with dozens of seizures a day, which makes things a bit difficult.  She’s since turned the corner and is down to just around 1 a day this weekend.  She’s even been able to cook supper this weekend, which is nice for both of us.  Now I can return to the unpacking and cleaning that has to happen.  Carrie’s parents and her step sister Miranda fly in Thursday, and my parents will also arrive Thursday.  Thankfully my parents have a hotel room, as we only have a 2 bedroom apartment.  I still have a few more hours to make the 2nd bedroom workable, hopefully I can get a decent amount done tomorrow after work.

Today I went in to work to make up the hours I’ll miss on Friday when we’re driving to Austin.  Tomorrow I’m going to do my best to get to work at 8 so I can get in around 10 hours which helps to make up the hours missed Thursday when going to the airport.  Plus, Tuesday we’re going to the doctor, so there are a few more hours to make up on Wednesday.  I do have some time away hours, but I want to make as many hours up as I can since this all repeats the next week, just on Monday and Tuesday instead.  It’ll be fun…

So, this is going to be a long 2 weeks.  But, I think I’ll still get the important stuff done.  Today Carrie talked to her friend who has two young boys who have drug resistant staph.  The youngest is having an outbreak, and I decided it’s time to send them some Melaleuca stuff.  It should help and work better than bleach.  I just can’t stand by and watch these kids suffer.  I hope it helps.
