Step by step

My thesis is done.  I have signatures that came almost too easily due to their own time constraints.  But I’ll take it.  :-)   So far, this is what’s left:

  • Get Dr. Udagawa’s signature saying I’ve completed all of the course requirements
  • Have the format checked
  • Take everything to the degree auditor
  • Realize I just graduated

That’s not very much left at all, and it’s a little crazy.  I don’t feel like I did a whole lot, yet magically it got done.  Life is strange that way.

With the thesis written I’ve returned focus to other things.  My house is a mess, so I’m slowly attacking bits and pieces of it.  I hope to work on getting rid of things soon.  I’ve also returned to the curriculum planning for the Jedi Academy.  It’s not easy to plan curriculum for anything.  Trying to balance quality with workload is particularly difficult.  But I think it’s worthwhile and necessary.  This also means that I need to get to writing my own lectures before too long.  Can’t bug everyone else when I haven’t done it myself.

But first and foremost, I need a nap!  I woke up so exhausted today due to the lack of sleep sunday night that I had to really force myself out of bed.  A nap would do wonders right now.  But not until I get home from work.  No sleeping while driving.

And, I need a job.  Based on a tarot reading Andrea did for me last night, I’m going to call my friend Christi and see what happens.  I don’t want to say anything else yet, we’ll just see what happens.  But apparently this is my final test – patience and faith with the job thing.  Perhaps a lesson to stop thinking so much.  lol  We’ll just have to see.
