At the Melissa Etheridge concert I was thinking how this was a once in a lifetime type opportunity, when I realized that everything is! We can’t go back and relive anything. And even something we repeat daily is different every single time.
We make a big deal out of once in a lifetime moments, without realizing that all moments are once in a lifetime. Or, as Dan Millman shared in The Way of the Peaceful Warrior, “There are no ordinary moments.” So while this is a concept I’ve heard before, I learned the lesson on a new level last night. Now I’ll do my best to hold that view, remembering to savor each moment, taking it all in as if I’ll never have the chance to repeat it. That, is living to the fullest.
